According to statistic of popularity of my posts, book reviews are not interesting for people (or I'm very bad in making my book reviews engaging enough).
Any way, I wanted to share something, which might be useful not only for book readers, but also for people, who prefer other type of media.
A few months ago I subscribed for "O'Reilly Media". I was never a big fan of expensive subscriptions on publishing platform. But they started announce early release of the next book by Chip Huyen ("AI Engineering") and this was the only way to get access to it. By the way, totally worth it, I can't wait to see the final version of the book! 🤓
I also discovered that on "O'Reilly Media" platform, you can find almost any book on ML/AI/Data, etc. And plenty of video courses!
The biggest surprise is that they regularly host online events with the book authors, where the authors teach concepts discussed in the books and answer questions from the audience! 🥹
Unfortunately it isn't announced much and you need to watch out yourself, which is a pity, because the events are amazing and it's rather rare you have a chance to talk with the book author.
So if you have educational budget from your company or simply reading a lot, have a look at O'Reilly.
(For the record, they didn't pay me for the ad, I just want to share this gold-mine with the rest of the world)
